Dr Rashmi Jane Shringer, MD is the newest physician to join the ACMA provider team. She is a native Abilenian and didn’t venture far for college, becoming a Longhorn at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a degree in Plan II Honors (Liberal Arts). She then moved to Dallas to complete her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School Dallas. She finished her pediatric training program both at  Dallas Children’s Medical Center and Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY.

Dr Shringer has been in private practice for four years and enjoys building strong patient doctor relationships that go beyond just medicine. She is excited and honored to continue to serve the Abilene pediatric community and their families.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Shringer enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, especially her adorable nieces Ava and Callan, and pampering her fur baby, a giant Sheepadoodle named Lola.
